If you have a question you would like to ask me, you can email me here.
In the forum where I spend most of my online time, Vivarium Forum, there is a format we use to show how many, what sex, and sometimes the names of the herps we have. I include all of my pets and thier names. In my list, all of the herps are listed by scientific name, but the cats, dog, and birds are just listed by common names. So you can get an idea of what it looks like, here it is with MY pets:
1.1.0 cats - Isaac & Soot
0.1.0 Polypedates leucomystax - Joe
1.1.0 Bombina orientalis - Starvin' Marvin & Aphrodite
0.0.1 Taricha granulosa - Saphira
0.0.1 Physignathus cocincinus - Rikutu
1.1.0 parakeets
0.1.0 Miniature Schnauzer - Sasha
0.0.1 Python regius - Graham
1.0.0 Pogona vitticeps - Franky
1.0.0 Elaphe guttata guttata - Masquerade
RIP:
2.1.0 Hyla squirella - Brick, Herman, & Sleepy
2.0.0 Anolis carolinensis - Brutus & ...?
0.0.1 Physignathus cocincinus - Riku
If you haven't seen it before, I bet that is rather confusing! The X.X.X format is the number of Males.Females.Unknown Sex of the species that follows. I saw that so many times without knowing what it meant that I finally asked. It seems so simple once you know what it means. This format is used in almost all of the forums pertaining to animals.
